Mobility Management
Northwest Mobility Management assistance is available in:
Alfalfa, Beaver, Blaine, Cimarron, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Harper, Kay, Kingfisher, Major, Noble, Texas, Woods, and Woodward counties.
What Is Mobility Management?
Mobility Management is a person-centered approach to helping people understand and access transportation. Instead of operating buses or providing rides directly, a Mobility Manager connects individuals with available public transit, tribal transit, volunteer programs, and other transportation resources.
Mobility Management also brings transportation providers, healthcare organizations, community agencies, and local leaders together to identify service gaps and develop practical solutions.
How Can a Mobility Manager Help?
The Northwest Mobility Manager can:
- Help identify transportation providers that may serve your area.
- Explain service areas, scheduling requirements, fares, eligibility, and accessibility options.
- Connect individuals and agencies with transportation resources.
- Help plan transportation for medical appointments, food access, employment, and other essential destinations.
- Provide travel training and assistance learning how to use public transportation.
- Work with transportation providers and community partners to identify service gaps and develop local solutions.
- Advocate for improved transportation access throughout Northwest Oklahoma.
Transportation availability depends on the rider’s location, destination, trip purpose, eligibility, requested date, and provider capacity. A referral does not guarantee that a ride will be available.
